A Strategic View of ITIL 4 - From Technology Management to Value Streams, Products and Services

Troy DuMoulin. Pink Elephnat
George Spalding. Pink Elephant

In the age digital disruption organizations which are able to increase speed to market and enable business outcomes through the mass production and release software enabled products at scale will thrive. In contrast those which are not able to make this shift to address culture and process silos will lose relevancy and face eventual extinction.

Join Troy, one of the key architects of ITIL’s new version as he reviews the ITIL 4 Service Value System – which replaces the ITIL v3 five-stage lifecycle. Troy will describe how this new holistic approach to IT Service Management focuses on the creation of business value through products and services and how organizations need to shift their focus to managing technology silos to key value streams that integrate the best practices of Lean, Agile and DevOps.

Troy is a leading ITIL® IT Governance and Lean IT authority with a solid and rich background in Executive IT Management consulting. Troy holds the ITIL Expert certifications and has extensive experience in leading IT Service Management (ITSM) programs with a regional and global scope.
